Central London Teaching School Hub and United Learning Trust collect, create and hold personal information relating to NQT’s and other school users and may also receive information about them from local authority and/or the Department for Education (DfE).
Registration of an NQT on the NQT Manager software requires the Appropriate Body to collect an NQT’s personal data (including identifiers such as name, date of birth, national insurance number, employment contracts and remuneration details, qualifications and absence information) and contact details (including name and email address) of their mentor and induction tutor. Collecting and using information in this way is lawful because the process is required in accordance with the DfE’s Statutory Guidance. We will not share information about the NQT, their school, Induction Tutors or Mentors with third parties without their consent unless the law or DfE Statutory Guidance allows us to. We are required, in accordance with DfE Statutory Guidance, to pass on some of the data collected through NQT Manager: the Department for Education (DfE) and TRA in order to inform them of NQT Starters, Leavers, Passes and Failures, other Appropriate Bodies in order to obtain previous records and/or assessments.
